Sharada Municipality Launches Historic Drinking Water Project

Sharada Municipality has officially launched a NPR 920 million drinking water project, marking the largest development initiative in the municipality’s history. The project aims to provide clean and reliable water to thousands of households across all wards.

Mayor Prakash Bhandari, who inaugurated the project, emphasized the importance of inclusive development. “Access to safe drinking water is a basic right for every citizen. This project reflects our commitment to improving the quality of life for all residents,” said Mayor Bhandari.

The ambitious project will not only supply water to households but also support agriculture, local businesses, and public institutions, fostering overall growth in Sharada. Mayor Bhandari highlighted that the initiative was made possible through persistent efforts and collaboration with provincial and federal authorities, ensuring adequate funding and technical support.

Residents welcomed the initiative with enthusiasm, expressing hope that it will transform daily life, reduce water-related health issues, and encourage further development in the region.

The municipality has assured that all projects will be implemented transparently, with regular updates provided to the public to ensure accountability and maximum impact.
